Previously Executive Director with Danila Dilba Health Service in Darwin,  John has twice been elected President of the NT Council of Social Service, served as a Governor of ACOSS, and has represented the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations. John's understanding of the needs and goals of the Aboriginal community has resulted in him possessing the remarkable ability to develop meaningful and acceptable links between Australia's diverse ethnic groups.

John specialises in the financial management of business and community projects, budgeting and costing. He has significant experience in the field of strategic planning and facilitates business and community groups in carrying this out. With many years experience in finance, management, administration and staff supervision, John brings contemporary business and computer skills to his consultancy role and an empathy with the challenges facing organisations and small to medium enterprises in the new millennium. John has a Senior Executive Master of Business Administration, is a member of the Australian Institute of Management and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has recently worked on the implementation of the GST for the 'not-for-profit' sector in the Northern Territory. To improve his skills and competencies, he is currently completing his Doctorate in Business Administration.
