There are some great new features included in the new Attaché update, version 7.01.100.  I have previewed the new software this morning, and here are a couple of my favourite bits and pieces.

• the abillity to create your own shortcut menu.  There can be more than one section i.e. Daily Tasks, Monthly Tasks, Year End etc.  I can see this being very useful for the sections we don't use very often, as once we find them we will not need to search for them again.
• a new date-checking option in Transactions, to help prevent incorrect dates being entered.  You can set you own date range i.e. 30 days, 60 days or any other number of days that you find most useful.
• in Payroll, the option to set timesheets to automatically recalculate normal hours when Annual Leave or Sick Leave is taken.

There are many more features in the new release - sheduled to become available in November 2008 - so keep an eye out for the notification.
